We are at the crossroads.
One hand hand we are committed to prove the world that it can be done, that no animal needs to die, that we can find homes for all animals in Kill-Shelters... on the other we must all understand that this is, that it MUST be a community effort, that the lives of all those animals are in our hands and our hands only, that WE, that YOU, are everything those animals have right now. That we are their only chance.
From today we will be running a monthly Chipin, that way people will be able to understand exactly how much money this operation needs to run efficiently, and they will be able to fully commit to it's success.
Today I announced that Let's Adopt would stop rescuing from Nashville until we have build a cushion that allows us to act with a margin of safety, but then I realize that Sheena doesn't have the luxury of waiting.
